auckland's home again~

hi guys!!!
thank god, we are no longer farmin! we are back in our "home" in Auckland with the saintly Parkinson family. So happy to be NOT tending to any chickens, lambs (waiting for the slaughter), or weeding! None that bad, unless you are doing them for five hours straight.
We have managed to get invited to house-sit for a family in KeriKeri over Christmas for three weeks. So...that means that we will, over the next couple weeks, try to buy a car! We took the bus to KeriKeri this last trip and it was a bit like being in a twelve foot buoy out at sea. We were both completely green three minutes in, and after being severely doped up on Dramamine woke up at the bus stop four hours later. We have both agreed that we would prefer to never experience that again, hence the car. Which will be interesting in any rate since we are still having a bit of trouble as pedestrians with this whole 'coming from the left' thing.
anyway, now that we have wrangled our precious cord back from Stephens clutches we should be posting some pictures today.

I am missing you all a lot today, but the sun is shining and the eighty degree weather will help with the blues.
All our love as always!
S
