Today we woke up to crepes and coffee around the table with Stephen and Sue. We are slowly learning more about how the other party feels about the other living under the same roof. We found out today that Jamie, their youngest, was convinced that the Parkinson Family could have gotten any Psychos off the Internet. But to find a couple she actually likes, living in her home, is pretty freakin lucky.
We both keep realizing how bazaar and amazingly wonderfully this really has worked out. Today Stephen said something that I thought summed up the feeling and essence of our situation. He called it "Island Style Ownership - The longer you stay with us the more you will understand the concept of ownership." He said. "Ownership isn't the ability for any of us to sell something, but the amazing ability for all of us to share." He said this with a subtle laugh, and a smile. Then quickly getting up from the table, he walked out to the porch for a smoke. Island Style. -PW
