Hey everyone! Boy we are starting to miss you guys. Maybe it is all the farm work or perhaps its the lack of our bed at home, but we are both pretty exhausted today. We have been on the farm in kerikeri for the last four days and have both put in solid 5+hour days doing weeding, pruning grape vines, feeding chickens, ducks, and geese. Paul has been using every power tool he can get his hands on and seems to be really enjoying his self. We are sleeping in a tiny pre-fab cottage with two sets of bunks, each of us claiming a top. Up at seven, work till 1:30, with the rest of the day to explore and rest. Not bad!
We have both agreed that we are in serious need of a car so that is our mission when we get back to Auckland next week.
We probably wont have a chance to post again until then since this is the first day we have been able to bug a ride to town to update you all. Just wanted to let you know that we are safe and well fed, and look forward to hearing from all of you when we return to Auckland.
