The Northwesterlies are up today!!

Sorry no pictures today! We are in Keri Keri still working on the farm. The last few days we've been picking off the "Black Spot" a little fungi on the leaves of the grapes. Its totally harmless but will get into the grapes and make for a bad yield! Look at those farming terms! "I think I've got the Black Lung Pop."

The last few days the weather has been crazy. You get a front of rain clouds coming from the Northwest that blast you with cold rain for about 10 minutes. Then the clouds break and its 80 degree sunshine for the next 19 minutes. This repeats all day from about 8am - 7 pm. No wonder entire books are filled with stories of people going crazy living in these conditions! Did we mention that Sarah's twitch is back? Oh, and farm cooking is for real! We have both gained at least 5 lbs. Who needs winter weight when there's farm weight.

We've played a ton of checkers and scrabble, as we are too tired to go into town after working. Mostly we just nap. Get up eat dinner and go to bed! Oh...and a little yoga for the back. Paul has almost finished reading Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises out loud to Sarah. Tonight should be fun, as it is pub quiz night. So we are going to do a little catching up on our drinking. Do you have 4 beers? I gotta get my drink on!

Love S + P
